Our supporters

Chrysalis at Tynedale is not funded by statutory services, and is completely dependent on contributions from donors like:

  • Allendale Lions
  • e-Academy
  • Sue Edwards
  • Families of our members
  • Isos
  • Sir James Knott Trust
  • Alex Norval
  • One-off Design
  • Julie Penalver
  • Readman Family Grassroots Fund
  • St John Lee Church, Acomb
  • Torch Centre, Hexham
  • Tynedale Lions.
We are very grateful to them all. Thanks to their generous support, in the last year we’ve been able to:
  • introduce new activities, such as golf
  • increase the number of days on which we hold activities
  • increase our membership
  • go out on regular monthly outings
  • tailor our activities to individuals
  • organise support for family members, including a support group
  • increase our team of volunteers
  • learn more about dementia.
"I want to contribute simply because I believe the more opportunities you give people with dementia, the better for them, their families and society in general."
